Full bio

Kevin Macho has spent his life making hard calls. Over a law enforcement career that began in 1994 and spans city, county, and state agencies in four states, he was named Oregon State Police Trooper of the Year, earned the Police Medal for courage in the line of duty with the Portland Police Bureau, served as a sergeant supervising field training for the Reserve Division and as a detective, and as a police chief rebuilt a non-functional department from the ground up, recruiting a small team to get the work done.

A lifelong builder, Kevin has founded and led nine organizations, from a baseball card shop he started in high school to mortgage, investment, and trucking companies, and the Real Estate Rebels Radio Show, which he created, owned and co-hosted and which became the top-rated show in its Wednesday-morning time slot. He has also spent time as a professional baseball umpire, appearing on regional and national TV.

Kevin holds the SPHR certification, a Master's Degree in Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, summa cum laude. He has delivered live programs in 38 states on leadership, management, and employment law, and ranked #3 out of more than 300 trainers at the largest seminar company in the United States, a ranking open only to trainers with top audience evaluation scores. Today he speaks to law enforcement, HR, and leadership audiences nationwide with one message: the hard things are the blessing.
